A Legacy of Love: The Gift of Breath for Our Community.

Sometimes, in moments of great loss, we find the most profound examples of generosity. This week, the Naples Pulmonary Rehab Club witnessed the power of community first-hand.

Recently, the widow of a beloved NCH patient who sadly passed away reached out with a touching offer. She wished to donate her late husband’s portable oxygen concentrator to someone who truly needed it, hoping to turn her loss into a legacy of help for others.

Through the coordination of NCH, that generous gift found its way to us. We are overjoyed to announce that this life-changing device has been placed in the hands of one of our dedicated club members who has been in urgent need of this equipment.

This donation is more than just a machine; it is the gift of mobility, freedom, and easier breathing. It is a reminder that even in grief, kindness connects us all.

We send our deepest gratitude to the donor family for their thoughtfulness, and to NCH for facilitating this beautiful connection. January29, 2026
